(More customer reviews)I honestly don't see how these get five-star ratings. So far I've tried the chocolate, strawberry, and cookies and cream varieties.
The cookies and cream flavor was non-existent. I didn't taste a thing; well, maybe that's an over-exaggeration. There might have been something there. I can't even remember, and that was the latest one I tried.
Chocolate was very, very mild. I had to actually focus a bit on the flavor I was somewhat tasting to really get it, and it wasn't all that great. It was some kinda generic chocolate flavor that wasn't very pleasing.
Strawberry, so far, was the only one that I didn't have to really focus on to taste it. There was some strawberry flavor there, but not much.
I tried sucking in a little milk through the straw, then letting go of suction, then doing it again, kind of working the milk up and down to dissolve more 'flavor' into it, but it didn't work out all too well. And even then, all the little beads didn't dissolve by the time I was done with my glass, so you'd have to drink quite a bit of milk to use it all up.
If you're looking for some kind of alternative to things such as Hershey's chocolate or strawberry syrup and expect the same, you'll be disappointed. Heck, I wasn't expecting a strong or intense flavor inasmuch, but nearly no flavor or taste at all? I'm incredibly disappointed in these. And I bought a bunch, so now I have to just suck it up (pun not intended) and use them so it wasn't a total waste. It's a shame.
Would not buy again.
